About as Likely as Not is an exhibition of new sculpture and print work by Allison Rowe. Rowe's work addresses the future of energy production by drawing on scientific data and mining industry research.. The works included in About as Likely as Not present a series of visual interpretations based on these data that take the form of abstracted mines and minimal landscapes.

The reception for About as Likely as Not will be held on Saturday, March 29, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Lease Agreement, 3718 Ellerslie Ave, Baltimore, Maryland. The exhibition runs from March 29 - April 20. Gallery hours are Wednesdays, 4:00pm until 8:00pm, or by appointment. Appointments can be requested by contacting Lease Agreement at leaseagreementbaltimore@gmail.com.

This exhibition is one of three that Lease Agreement will host as an ACRE (Artists’ Cooperative Residency and Exhibitions) partner gallery. ACRE is a volunteer-run non-profit based in Chicago devoted to employing various systems of support for emerging artists and to creating a generative community of cultural producers. ACRE investigates and institutes models designed to help artists develop, present, and discuss their practices by providing forums for idea exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and experimental projects. More information about ACRE can be found at www.acreresidency.org.

Lease Agreement is a collaborative curatorial project by artists Adam Farcus and Allison Yasukawa. Set in the living room of the couple’s rental house, Lease Agreement continues in the tradition of apartment gallery exhibition spaces by exhibiting conceptually rigorous, engaging work within the context of a home.
